Hey, Brad.

Great photos. They really bring back the experience for me.

I'm looking for a picture of Larry Bird diving on the court saving a ball. That one on this page is great. I'm interested in procuring it, or a different one of him saving a ball, if you have your photos for sale. Thanks!

Hendra,

It has nothing to do with them moving fast- it is just how it works out. I have been doing this for a long time and it has worked well for me :-)

HI Brad,

Thanks for the reply. Appreciate that.
And I assume, you can just position that focus point anywhere in the body of the person and not necessarily the eye? This is because they move fast. Is that right?

Thanks again,
Hendra

Hendra,

Thanks for the nice words about my pictures- I really appreciate it!

I generally use the center focus point when I shoot sports and just follow the action. I sometimes move it around if I am trying a different composition, etc, but it is generally in the center.

Good luck!

Hi Brad,
I just found your website few weeks ago, when the canon rumors website put a link to yours. I enjoy looking at your sport photography images. Wonderful.
I am not a sport shooter, but more of a travel, landscape and portrait shooter. When shooting portrait, as you know, I always focus on the eye. But, when shooting sport, where do you focus? I am sure it will be very difficult to focus on the eye of the person as they keep moving. And do you use one focus point or multiple focus points for tracking?
I hope you don't mind me asking this question here.

Thanks you,
Hendra
