I have now settled into our New York City hotel the day after last night’s 7-1 Game 2 win by the Royals over the Mets in the 2015 World Series at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City and I am super happy to have some free time in the big city. But first I need to put together this blog post so I can share some of my favorite pictures from last night’s ballgame.

Not much exciting happened compared to Game 1, but the Royals played great and now the Mets are in big trouble if they don’t win Game 3 tomorrow night at home. I switched over to the first base side and had a great time shooting the game. I even made a few pictures I liked. Let’s take a look.

The big excitement this morning was the MLB charter flight on Eastern Airlines our MLB Photos crew was leaving Kansas City aboard. We felt like semi-rock stars as we drove our SUV onto the tarmac, under the plane’s wings, and left it nearby before climbing the stairs into our own jet airplane, along with every single human being who has anything to do with Major League Baseball. Not a seat was empty but the flight was cool and it is great to be in New York City!

I hope the Mets win Game 3 tomorrow night. I want a long series. This is fun for me. I love shooting these games and I am not ready for this season to end. Check back soon to see what happens next!
