The 2017 TOUR Championship for the PGA TOUR with my iPhone

Two weeks ago I traveled back to the gorgeous East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta to photograph the final event of the PGA TOUR playoffs, the TOUR Championship. For the second year in a row I was on assignment for the PGA TOUR shooting with my iPhone 7 Plus for their various social media channels. Last season I made my debut at East lake and could not have been more thrilled with the numerous incredible photo opportunities all over the golf course. I really felt comfortable going back this year. Staying in the same hotel. Parking in the same lot. Knowing the locker room manager. Working alongside terrific PGA TOUR staff photographers Stan Badz and Ryan Young. All of these factors made shooting this year’s event so much fun, and I think my pictures reflect that. Let’s take a look!

Can you tell I like the clouds in Atlanta? Ha!
I shot for five days and man they went by fast! I barely had time to pack Sunday night at the hotel after Justin Thomas won 10 million bucks before I had to get up early Monday morning to catch a flight to Newark to shoot the Presidents Cup. That will be my next blog post and you will not want to miss that I shot that even with the new iPhone 8 Plus!
