Opening week of the 2014 baseball season has an extra special meaning for me this year. The San Francisco Giants All Together • Stronger Together advertising campaign is featuring my photographs in street banners, digital ads and outdoor boards all over San Francisco.

Thanks to the incredible talents of art director Carrie Ammermann at Baker Street Advertising in San Francisco my busy off season of working and consulting with Carrie has paid off. By utilizing my searchable archive powered by PhotoShelter we were able to dig through my library of images from the 2013 season to come up with a set of pictures that is now displayed all over The City promoting Giants baseball.

Carrie did an amazing job working with my pictures to create HUGE ballpark banners, pole banners, bus ads, and outdoor digital boards promoting the All Together • Stronger Together campaign. Working with Carrie and Baker Street president Jack Boland was a real treat as their desire to create a visual campaign that weighed so heavily on photographs was a blast to be a part of. You can see a full collection of all the artwork in this special gallery on my NEW portfolio website.

The HUGE ballpark  banners featuring Buster Posey, Angel Pagan, and Hunter Pence first when up in early February. I must admit, it was pretty darned cool seeing them hung up around AT&T Park for the first time.

A few weeks ago the pole banners started appearing all over the ballpark neighborhood and they look pretty amazing. The combination of a Giants player and a fun detail or crowd picture really worked well together in getting the message across. Carrie did a great job in creating all of these pairings, which was not easy since she was dealing with a very tall and thin vertical layout. There are eight different sets of pole banners. Below are a few of them.

Besides the cool pole banners and ballpark murals there are some fun designs Carrie put together for bus ads that can be seen on Muni buses all over San Francisco. Check out some of them below.

There are also print ads running in the San Francisco Chronicle. One of my favorites so far is one that used my Instagram of Posey I shot with my iPhone getting ready in the dugout before a game. You can see it below.

I could not be more pleased with how this campaign turned out. Thanks again to Carrie and Jack and all the great folks at Baker Street for believing in me and my photography. Thanks also goes out to Mario Alioto and Tom McDonald of the Giants for approving the campaign and supporting the use of my images. It will be pretty special for me to drive to the Giants home opener next week and see my photographs all over the city promoting my favorite team. I hope 2014 is another special year for the ballclub. I know it will be for me!
